My Busy… Lovely Weekend…… :)

I had a great weekend… Worked on Saturday…. And enjoyed my Sunday…. Weather is hot like hell here umm around 45 degrees…. I still enjoyed it…. :D
Am feeling so damn tired right now…. But coz am excited and happy I feel like writing :D
I worked on a project on Saturday….. It was a survey for a market research company…. Nothing to do with college curriculum…. It was an interesting survey in which I took 175 personal interviews(actually we in a team of two) and visited north campus, south campus, JNU and my present college all in one day…. And the topic was something very much appealing to the youth and that was “Drinking habits among youngsters” ;)
During my survey I also got a chance to visit my love my college ‘Hansraj’… Man… it was so nostalgic…. I missed all those times when I used to bunk and roam and enjoy with friends…. Every moment just flashed back…. Also enjoyed my favorite ‘Bhelpuri’ :D
It was hectic day…. I worked for 10 hours… And met many interesting people…. ;)) I wanna mention few of them but feeling very tired to write details…. :’(
Coming to my Sunday…. I went for ‘New York’ and spent my whole day out…. It’s something I liked…. I wanna write my review on it…. And I cried too in the end…. Well…. It happens with me…. I don’t watch… movies I LIVE them…. I feel them by heart and that’s why they affect me big time…. Will come up with my review on ‘New York’ may be in few days….. But in short it’s worth watching….
I really need sleep now… Aaah m left with my presentation… which is tomorrow in the morning… and I gonna make it in the early morning itself…. Then have to finalize my project title but for that I have deadline till tomorrow 4 pm… So I’ll do it in tomorrow’s Lunch break…. Whatever I’ll handle it :D :D
I am finally stopping here…. Love you God…. Muuaah… :D

Your blog is very lively. It keeps me going.

Re: this post, it not be the most interesting, as many would not care of what you are doing until you are a celebrity. But, am enjoying it because what you have done in this post is not only shared your experienced or what ever you have done on your weekends but also made us think about our school days and also brought yourself two potential topics for blogging.
Potential topics for blogging are 1. Newyork review (as u have mentioned)
2. Drinking habits among youngsters

You can share the different opinions you have gathered from the interviews and also share your view on the same.

Am not blogging on " Drinking habits among youngsters " simply because it came from your blog and would like to see how you blog on the same.
Will wait to see those posts.
Wish u all the best, only the best and always the best.

The first time, I don't have my gracious knowledge or long experiences to share ... I'm not always the 1st one to read ur blog...but I'm for sure the most moved and deeply touched by what u share... and after reading this, I am going to visit my school and college...wow...this post left an impact !! :)

Its not ur language, nor the play of words .. what I like in ur blog...jus the simple way of sharing and affecting emotions which are common to us, which has made me ur stalker !! lol !!

Be happy and not so busy always..after a point u may loathe it...but since its all new to u...keep enjoyin ... happy to see you living ur life more thn 100% !!

Lovely expression Deepika...keep expressing :)

Hmm.. it is 42 in Delhi now.. and I must say you are a tough Girl if you went around in this heat interviewing 175 people -- sure you did it in person ?? ;-) -- too hot here this time...
hmm I saw New York I did not like it for just one reason.. the story is an old one.. a borrowed one and that too an Indian Movie on what Americans feel about Muslims.. is a story the Americans themselves have done many times before. If one thing that is good about USA it is their freedom of speech.. and so they have shown several movies on how USA had wrong policies against Muslims after 9/11.. a Hindi Movie need not have been done to say the same thing.. Rather the Indian Director could have shown what wrong things go on in India and how our Police wrongfull confine innocent people by calling them terrorists and Naxals.. India has lot of stories that the director could have exploited.. overall I am sorry to disagree with most Delhites as I can see most Delhites are going to see this movie.. .

[oh btw it was an SLR]

@Shantanu
Finally,
Well well.... how can i forgt to mention(how come it skipped from my mind that you are going to counter attack :P) that i havent seen any of the movies from where "New York" is copied.. And thats one reason i liked it.... Second thing, the star cast and last but not the least after a long time i got a chance to go n watch a NEW MOVIE on theatre.... After a long long time movies again started releasing and this was the first one i was able to spare time for...

Well, when you say Delhiites i dunno y you have a created a category and thrown all Delhiites in that one category.... In Delhi too you'll find variety of Delhiites.. lolz...

I just know i when i wanna have good time i just steal it sumhow anyhow... so was this time :)

yes m tough individual... After all i have opted Marketing core.... i m supposed to be tough... its not meant for lose and lazy people :D

SLR... hmmm cool!! i guessed it by the observing way you focused on one object by adjusting that +/- thing... if m not wrong :)

i got this blog thru orkut! this's my first visit...this nostalgic post is very heart touching. Recently we had our school get together party! really old school days are most beautiful than any other stages of life. ya! i heard that "newyork" is breaking all records! i too will see it!

Deepika said...

@Hemu
Thanks..
its always great to meet your old pals.... Its lovely... :)

Yess, go for it... you'll enjoy... tc :D

ohhh yesss! in fact I forgot to say the Photo is great!! It reminds one of a great weather.. but delhi is not reminding me of such a weather now! haha! ok ok.. i know it is actually expressing your mental state which is great!! It is great that you can feel like this in such heat! :-)

I guess you are right.. I am a Delhite too now.. [I think i hv stayed here long enough to absorb many facets of character that a typical delhite has) so you are right.. there are different cateogories within ..

Yes.. I guessed it correct..as to why most delhites like New York.. one other reason will be applicable to boys --- TOTA!!.. this word will surely make them feel new york has come closed to Delhi! hehe!!

You are crazy about photography? Ask me on my blog anything u want to know... if i know i will tell you.. that +/- thing is not a +/- thing in a SLR.. it is a Focussing Ring.. you make depth of field small.. and then focus on one thing.. the rest becomes hazy.. i also used a Telephoto to catch the tree's top part which you see in m post... :-)

Deepika said...

I love photography... its one of my interests... I have manual SLR but i never explored that... the day i developed interest in photography i got digital camera...
So i know only that +/- thing :)
'TOTA' lolz.... :))

ShantanuDas said...

Manual SLR? from dad? not yrs I bet! hehe!.. when u get a job first salary usually goes to parents.. sp spend second salary on a digital SLR then.. 40,000/- or so. canon.. EOS buy one.. then get a telephoto lens after 1 yr.. then wide angle after 1 more year.. then a macro after 1 more.. and then an external flash.. then one more telephoto.. baaas!! u got it all.. of course in between buy a tripod.. and then if you want to shoot portraits.. buy umbrella flash!! .. u need lot of money to really become a professional... Alas!!.. though they say it is the person behind the camera that counts.. after some time the equipment too helps !!...

Deepika said...

yup, Dad's SLR... :D
I have a stil a way to go before i earn my 1st salary and thats so dunno how much...

My career is serious topic of concern for me :|

Deepika said...

Btw, are you photographer by profession?

ShantanuDas said...

nah rey...i am not a pro.. but who knows? one day I may become?? hmm?.. or who knows? mb u may become.? then i will come and see ur exhibitions!!..
always pays to have a hobby... career cannot be everything in life if u want to really enjoy life... right? [wrong?]

ShantanuDas said...

in fact even your hobby of blogging is one that makes you enjoy life!!... and as they always say.. a person with extra curricular activities always stand a better chance at job and career... bcs they have developed their minds beyond books..

Deepika said...

@Shantanu
True.... may be someday....
its very important to pursue what u truly like to do :)
yess, even i wished few years back to display my pics in an exhibition.... :))
but.... Anyways :)

ShantanuDas said...

I am sure you will try ur best to get what u want to do.. my good wishes for you!!
